■ Balanced Counseling
These days, it can be nearly impossible to find a counselor you can trust. Many professional counselors will “treat you” using the latest techniques of psychological research. Other counselors will “challenge you” with hard-core biblical truth and can be ignorant of real psychological science and can sometimes come off as cold and uncaring. We encourage people to find the middle ground by seeking pastoral counseling that is both thoroughly biblical and steeped in solid psychological research.
Reggie Alderman is on staff at Calvary a sponsoring church and provides counseling for those at Purdue, in the church and the community. He has a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and presently pursuing a Doctorate in Professional Counseling. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and a Board Certified Christian Counselor. His areas of focus include marriage conflict resolution, depression and anxiety, bi-polar disorder and addiction/recovery.
